On June 18 and 19, 2025, Nikkei Inc., Nikkei BP, and Iskandar Investment Berhad (IIB) hosted the NIKKEI FORUM MEDINI, JOHOR 2025 in the township of Medini in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, Malaysia. The event aimed to attract investment into Johor, the southernmost state of Peninsular Malaysia. It featured presentations by high-ranking government officials, experts, and senior executives of major corporations from Japan and Malaysia.
